Archery Taster Sessions

The Bowmen of Danesfield Archery Club have been shooting at Danesfield CofE School for over twenty years.

We would like to encourage more youngsters to take up this wonderful sport and have arranged with the School to offer some free taster sessions for the pupils at the school.

Your child may have always wanted to try their hand at archery because it is fun, challenging, exciting and friendly. These sessions are an excellent way to determine if archery is for them.

You will be shown the basics of target archery with a 3o minute session

• An experienced Archery Coach will guide them, and they will definitely hit the target in this session.
• We will provide all the equipment.

Our coaches will be helping and supervising these sessions with guidance on safety and basic technique; it is not an archery lesson but a chance to pick up a bow and arrow and shoot some arrows.

We will always safely conduct the taster sessions following Archery GB guidance. 

As I am sure you will understand, our insurers require that we ask you for some basic information before you shoot.
