Discover Archery – Free Taster Sessions for Danesfield CoE School Staff

The Bowmen of Danesfield Archery Club has proudly been a part of the Danesfield CoE School community for over twenty years, and we’re excited to invite school staff to experience the sport we love.

We’re offering free taster sessions exclusively for school staff – a unique opportunity to try your hand at archery in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Whether you’ve always been curious or are simply looking for something fun and different, this is a chance to experience a sport that’s enjoyable, challenging, and surprisingly rewarding.

Each session lasts a minimum of 30 minutes and includes:

• A friendly introduction to target archery
• One-on-one guidance from an experienced archer
• All equipment provided
• Plenty of opportunities to shoot arrows and hit the target

These sessions are informal and enjoyable – not a formal lesson, but a hands-on chance to try archery with expert support. You’ll be guided through the basics, ensuring your experience is safe, enjoyable, and memorable.

All sessions are conducted following Archery GB safety guidelines.
