The Interclub Shoot at Danesfield September 2009

The sun was shining - though there was a distinct crosswind to amuse all the archers who took part in the Somerset Interclub on 6th September.

For the first year we had a waiting list and the line up included ex Olympic archers and first- ever- tournament entrants. Out of the fifteen open clubs in Somerset 13 attended a marvelous turnout. Everyone seemed to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and it was splendid to see so many archers, with so many different bows, and arrows, and stances and so many clubs.

The feedback has been very positive and it is definitely on for next year, when of course, it will be bigger and better. Thank you all for coming and we will see you next year.

The date is 5th September 2010; please put it in your diaries now.
