Bowmen of Danesfield 2010

Once the clock changes we hope to be shooting outside until late September.

During inclement weather we will go back to our indoor target area.

Senior shooting times

Tuesday – please arrive at 6.45 p.m ready to set up before commencing shooting at 7 p.m. Strictly full club members only.

Thursday – please arrive no earlier than 7 p.m, we commence shooting at 7.15 p.m promptly.

Sunday - mornings, strictly full club members only.

What happens each session?

Seniors – Thursday evening is Club Night.

• Coaching is available from any of our five coaches; please ask if you would like help.
• Beginners’ courses may be available, booking only please.
• Recognised rounds shot by full members.
• Equipment evenings – on demand.
• Badge award scheme – assessments. Booking only.

Seniors -Tuesday evenings is a relaxed evening with full members only, but most choose to shoot a recognised round. The blue hat is awarded this evening – you all know why you may be eligible!

Seniors also shot on Sunday mornings, an informal shoot with arrangements being made between members.

Junior Shooting Dates and Times ( Autumn Term )

September 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th.

October 7th, 14th and 21st.

November 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th.

December 3rd, and 10th.



The cost for the term is £45.50 ( £3.50 per session)

Can you p[lease make your cheque payable to The Bowmen OF Danesfield.

Please put in an envelope with your Childs name on it.

Also as it is the start of a new year, £10.00 has to be added for the Insurance for the year.

First Session 4.30 p.m – 5.30 p.m.

Second Session 5.30 p.m – 7.00 p.m

Those of you at Minehead, WSCC and Minehead Middle, you can come along and shoot ( no charge) on Mondays, 3.30 – 5.00p.m. at the WSCC grounds and in winter, in the Gym.

Please deliver and collect your children promptly. .
